Flagler Technical College has received a $5,000 grant to implement a health literacy program for our Adult Education students! This initiative, funded by Florida Blue Foundation and the Florida Literacy Coalition, will empower our learners to make informed health decisions and navigate the medical system more confidently. Exciting times ahead as we continue to integrate health education into our curriculum and support both students and families.

Flagler Technical College in Palm Coast secured $1.6 million for expansion due to increased enrollment, reaching nearly 700 students. The funds will add 4,290 square feet to accommodate more classrooms and labs. 

Our ESOL classes registration saw an overwhelming turnout, reflecting the urgent need for English language education, particularly due to individuals affected by the Ukraine crisis seeking refuge. The community's enthusiasm highlights the power of education amidst challenging times. We're excited to support this journey and thank our team and volunteers for their incredible efforts

Flagler Technical College (FTC) marks National Apprenticeship Week, spotlighting its apprenticeship programs in HVAC, Electrician, and Early Childhood Education. These programs blend hands-on training with classroom learning, allowing apprentices to work and study simultaneously, gaining practical skills for their careers. The flexible model empowers individuals to earn while they learn, opening doors to better career prospects. FTC's approach bridges the gap between education and industry needs, nurturing skilled professionals ready for the workforce.
